About Modern History

Welcome to Pennine Lancashire Museums at Night

Welcome to Pennine Lancashire Museums at Night 2015 where six of the region's museums and galleries are hosting special after-hours events as part of the national Museums at Night Festival.

You have the opportunity to visit these wonderful venues in the evenings, when there is a different atmosphere and things are a bit more relaxed and social.  With events taking place across three nights we encourage you to visit more than one venue and try something different and new.

With storytelling, printing workshop, family tours, film night and live entertainment events there is something for everyone. Some events are free and some require booking in advance so have a look and plan your Museums at Night experience.

For a full list of all events taking place please click here.

The events of 2015 have been supported by a grant from Heritage Lottery Fund.

Part of Museums at Night national Festival.
